Billing

Manage seats and billing

Move between Free, Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, and the School plan — and what each one changes about how you teach.

ClassPods has four plans. The useful difference between them is classroom volume and AI workflow depth, not surface branding.

Free

The right place to start. You get unlimited live hosting for normal class sizes, up to 3 active classes, up to 5 assignments per month, and up to 3 AI quiz generations per month. No card required.

Pro Monthly

Pay-as-you-go for solo teachers. Unlimited classes and assignments, higher AI generation and lesson-pack limits, PDF and URL source ingestion, and advanced analytics. Useful when ClassPods is becoming a regular part of your week but you want billing flexibility.

Pro Annual

The same as Pro Monthly with a lower effective monthly cost. Best when ClassPods is part of your full-year teaching routine. The savings vs. monthly are roughly 47%.

School

Custom-quoted, for teams, departments, and campus rollouts. Adds centralized billing, admin reporting, shared content workflows, and onboarding support. Schools are admin-provisioned — your school admin invites teachers, not the other way around. If you're a solo teacher and want to bring your school onto ClassPods, the school CTA on /teacher/school captures lead info and is reviewed weekly.

Upgrading and downgrading

Open the billing page from your dashboard. Plan changes take effect immediately for Pro tiers. School plans are provisioned by the ClassPods team after a short call.

What happens if a subscription ends

Your classes, lesson packs, and assignments stay safe. The workspace returns to Free limits, so some active features (e.g., more than 3 classes) become read-only until you renew.
