Share assignments
Turn any quiz or lesson pack into a take-home assignment with a due date and a single share link.
Assignments are how the same ClassPods content keeps working after the class period ends. Set a due date, share the link, and students complete the work on their own time.
Create an assignment
From any quiz or lesson pack, choose Assign. You'll set:
- Class — the group of students who should see it.
- Due date — when the assignment closes.
- Practice mode — whether students can retry questions (recommended for homework).
- Flashcards — whether to include a flashcard study mode for the same content.
ClassPods generates a single share link plus a per-student view if you want to track who has opened it.
How students complete it
Students sign in (or use their class code) and see the assignment on their dashboard. They can:
- Work through it at their own pace
- Switch language during the assignment if they need to
- Use the accessibility toolbar
- Retry incorrect questions in practice mode
Track submissions
The assignment view in your dashboard shows submission status per student, accuracy, and which questions tripped up the class as a whole. The same signal that appears after live sessions applies here.
Tips
- Pair an assignment with the flashcard deck so students can study before attempting it.
- Use shorter assignments (5–10 questions) more frequently rather than long ones rarely.
- If a student misses the due date, you can reopen the assignment for them individually.
