Make it readable

Switch language

How to change a quiz to a language that's easier for you to read or hear — and what the language toggle actually does.

ClassPods supports multiple languages during quizzes. If reading in one language is slowing you down, you can switch.

Where the toggle lives

Look for the small Reading settings button in the corner of your screen. Open it and you'll see a Language dropdown.

Languages you can choose

The supported list is English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Chinese. Your teacher may have restricted the list to just a couple of languages — that's fine, you'll see only the choices they enabled.

What changes when you switch

  • Question text — the wording of each question.
  • Answer choices — the options you tap on.
  • Read-aloud voice — when you press the read-aloud button, it uses the voice for the selected language.

What does not change: your nickname, your avatar, your points, and your place in the game.

If a translation isn't there

A language only shows up if your teacher turned it on for that quiz. If the dropdown says "translation not available," that question wasn't translated. You can still answer in your stronger language.

Arabic and right-to-left

When you choose Arabic, the layout flips to right-to-left. Buttons and text reorder so reading feels natural. The font also changes to one designed for Arabic.
