You can play ClassPods without an account using a PIN. A profile is for when you want your progress to follow you between games, classes, and devices.
What a profile gets you
- XP and levels — points stack up across games instead of resetting.
- Streaks — a daily and longest streak that tracks how regularly you play.
- Badges — earned for things like finishing your first quiz or getting a perfect score.
- Class memberships — your teacher's assignments show up on your dashboard.
- Practice history — go back to a quiz you played and study the flashcards.
What you need to sign up
- A display name (you choose how it appears)
- An avatar
- An email and a password (at least 6 characters)
The email is just so you can sign back in later. It is not shared with classmates.
If you played as a guest first
If you joined a game with a PIN before making an account, your guest progress can be linked to your new profile when you sign up. The sign-up form notices that you played anonymously and offers to bring that history with you.
You can sign in on any device
Your profile lives in ClassPods, not on your device. Sign in on a phone today and a laptop tomorrow and your XP, streaks, and assignments follow.
