Let's Talk About Time!
- What is time? We use clocks to know when things happen.
- Today we will make a paper clock and read times to the hour and half hour.
- Listen for examples from your day: breakfast, school, play.

Parts of an Analog Clock
- Face: the round part that shows numbers.
- Hour hand: short hand that shows the hour.
- Minute hand: long hand that shows minutes.

O'clock and Half Past
- When minute hand points to 12 it is 'o'clock'.
- When minute hand points to 6 it is 'half past'.
- Hour hand moves between numbers at half past.

Make a Paper Clock (craft)
- Cut out the clock face and two hands carefully.
- Attach hands with a brass fastener so they move.
- Practice setting the hands to a time I call out.
